About

Hi! I’m Mary McCashin, third generation horse trainer and friend to the equine.
My grandfather was on the Olympic Show Jumping Team in 1952 and won a bronze medal. My dad was a renowned horseman who had a special way with horses. Thankfully, the equine bug passed down and bit me!
I grew up in the hunter/jumper world, but made the switch to the Buck Brannaman/Ray Hunt style of horsemanship in 2012. I believe that a foundation should be (and can be!) installed in horses in any discipline to help set them up for life.
Young horses have always been my favorite. My dad jokingly called me “the teacher of the equine kindergarden”. I don’t discriminate though and welcome working with horses or any age or background.
I’m here to speak for the horse, to help them understand that boundaries equal peace, and to educate their owners and riders so that we can exist in harmony.
I look forward to meeting you!
